have to agree with those saying the timer is too short... the art is really cute but the best ive been able to do is to the second cg! would be nice to have an easier mode or option for those of us who cant spam that fast :3
We just updated the game, we kept the timer the same time but added the option to use Z and X as an alternative to spacebar :) on our tests it felt better and less straining. Happy you liked the art! Thanks for the feedback!

Update 1.1: Better now. It's incredibly simple, but really something that should only be used in something like a randomized challenge. Like that one Mario Party minigame with the Whomps.
If it isn't randomized, then it's either too easy to be a challenge, or too hard to be fair. A tricky gimmick to use, to be sure.
Quite true! We made it in a couple days (counting the art and live2d rigs too) so we wanted a quick mechanism to make, but we are taking this feedback for future mechanisms for sure :)
Timer is broken, in first phase after reaching 6 seconds or "spam" word immediately start second phase, and in second phase when reaching "C" in "escape" word immediately start third phase, and in third phase when it start timer gives you 12, 10 or 6 second (don't know how it work)
Hey, so maybe it’s not really clear but basically:
The game is splitted between 3 phases, when you reach 1/3 of the bar at the bottom you get the next CG and as a reward 10 seconds is added to your timer
This help you to continue your progression until you reach the end :)

Adding just 5 more seconds to the base clock may make it feel less like bullshit. Also, my arm is now strained, yippee.
We tested it again, and we have around 5-10 seconds leftover normally before reaching winning and we fear making it too easy.
Perhaps try using two fingers to tap the spacebar without hurting your arms :)
I don't think you really entirely tested this for how it works between multiple devices and for people other than yourself, you always have to give a bit of leeway for people who don't make the game, due to hardware differences. For instance, the only reason I actually beat it wasn't by using two fingers but by stiffening my arm and to the point it shakes and jitters so I can hit the spacebar fast enough with one hand, and it was still a close call. I did this because even with multiple keyboards, trying to spam with multiple fingers would only register the press once as a hardware limitation. as well, the time limit is actually remarkably short for how much you need to spam it, considering internet interruptions as well can affect how effectively someone can play the game, especially if they hit any buttons to the side that acts as a shortcut on accident, which happened a few times as I was attempting to use multiple keyboards or even alternating my fingers. I get the idea you're going for, but on several occasions, I was right there as the clock expired
