One question: Why is the pricing in euro on some on your games?
P.S.: I like peaples, they don't want many money for games, they don't complete. If I make a book, game or whatever, and publish it here on itch.io, then I make a small price (if I sell it). You are my friend now.
Is there a possibility of an update adding a forward-facing sprite? Feels like a missed opportunity to have hips that thick with no chance to see the full view from behind.
Edit: Forgot to say I love your game and the concept behind it!
I really like the artwork and overall vibes of this game.
Combat could use some work. It didn't really feel like any of the stat upgrades were doing much, and the combat mechanics are pretty shallow.
I really like how your character sort of evolves over time, and I like how the various "attachments" you unlock affect what you can do in-game. Though, I kind of wish the attachments also affected combat in some way.
I was able to get all the achievements and secrets. It was a bit grindy, but I liked searching for the tokens.
Overall very solid game. The artwork in particular is top quality.
Looking forward to more games from y'all in the future!
Thank you for the feedback! We tried to catch as many bugs as we could before submission, but it seems a few escaped our sights haha! Happy to know you had fun <3
Awesome game! I love the 2.5D aspect, it really worked here. Art was great, and the controls were fairly responsive, games like this with a 'dash' function tend to not run very well IMO.
I like to leave some criticism, I could be 100% off so let me know, but this is what I noticed. (All comments made with love for the dev work)
Some of the 2d sprites would face their original direction when coming down come streets, making them moving lines
I know the point system seemed to 'mostly' accommodate Horn Level, but I did not see much of a difference that 'power level' made (I think energy scaling increased energy collection rate, but I didn't look too hard). All enemies took about the same # of hits on the last run that they did the 1st.
The "hook wave" attack from blue enemies looks a little too much like an action effect, I would consider an adjustment, maybe hardening the edges or something for a more defined "This is a projectile" vibe.
Lastly, I would have liked to see the changes to MC on the gameplay sprite. Obviously that would have been like 20 more sprite sets, trust me I get it lol. Just a small thing IMO.
Like I said, great game, I'll probably be voting for you guys!
Interesting bug! sadly we missed it, thank you for telling us about it :3 We wanted to make forward and backward facing sprites but we only had 2 artist (myself being one of them) and didnt have time to implement them. (Since this was for a game jam)
I agree! We tweaked the stat stuff a lot, but it definetely needed a little bit more of consideration, there is a number difference on each level, but we didn’t do a great job showing a visual/feedback change to the user on those.
3.Me too! That was one of the first ideas we had, but time constraints :(
We appreciate the vote! And the compliments, and most importantly the feedback! Have a good one <3

Our team is working on a few more ;)

This was developed for a gamejam and sadly mobile support was not in the plans, if we re-visit this idea in the future we might give it a go :)
Fun game, the gallery menu's do not scale correctly when not in fullscreen and health doesn't increase the first couple of times i levelled it.
